Mechanics that look okay but waste your time

You can get through two quicker maps in that same window and come out ahead. Ritual, Ultimatum, and Harvest have a similar problem, but for a different reason. They ask too much from the player. Read the choices. Weigh the value. Think about what might sell. In another league that might've been worth it. Here, not really. When raw loot is already flying out of maps, that pause starts to feel expensive. Kalguur shipping lands in the same bucket for me. The jackpot stories are real, but the upkeep is annoying, and once you count all the clicks and planning, the hourly income often looks a lot less impressive than people claim.

What actually feels strong right now

If your goal is clean, repeatable profit, fast monster-heavy content is still the safest bet. Legion makes sense because it floods the map and pays in volume. Heist remains solid because the reward structure is direct and familiar, especially for players who already know what to target. Boss rushing also deserves the hype. It's quick, it's simple, and the market around mapping supplies has kept it relevant. A lot of players are pairing that with Ambush or Expedition on T16s and getting exactly what Mirage seems built to reward: more encounters, more drops, less downtime. That's the core idea. The less time you spend standing still, the better your league usually goes.

Where I'd pivot from here

If your current setup feels clunky, don't overthink it. Drop the mechanics that ask you to stop and make decisions every map. Lean into speed, density, and content your build can clear without stress. That alone fixes a lot.
